Park drinker robbed

THIEVES attacked and robbed a Dandenong man while he was drinking in Dandenong Park.
Greater Dandenong CIU Detective Senior Constable Belinda Rampal said the victim, 50, was drinking alcohol in the Pultney Street rotunda with friends about 8.30pm on 6 March.
He went to use the toilet underneath the structure and three men confronted him and demanded his phone and wallet.
When he refused, one man struck him to the head, took his phone and ran away.
The victim walked to Dandenong Police Station and collapsed in the foyer.
He was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
