The female offender walked out of the Angus and Coote store at the Parkmore Shopping Centre about 11am on Wednesday 1 July, wearing an 18-carat gold engagement ring with a solitaire diamond and a matching wedding band with round brilliant cut diamonds after trying on a number of different items.
The woman is described as slim and was wearing dark clothing and a dark scarf around her head at the time.
She was last seen running out of the shopping centre.
Police have released a photo of the rings in the hope they can be returned.
