GREATER Dandenong residents can have their say on cycling.
The council is developing its Cycling Strategy 2016/23 and wants to know how to make bike riding easier and more enjoyable.
Mayor Heang Tak urged residents to share where in the municipality they liked and didn’t like riding their bikes, issues and challenges facing bike riders, and suggestions to improve the experience.
Recent statistics showed that 14.3 per cent of Greater Dandenong residents rode their bicycle in a typical week.
The Greater Dandenong National Cycling Participation Survey 2015 also revealed that men were more likely to ride, and children aged under 10 years rode the most.
The survey also found most Greater Dandenong residents used their bikes for recreation as opposed to a regular form of transport.
Visit cyclingcgd.crowdspot.com.au before 5pm on Monday 30 November to have a say.
Council says come along for the ride
