A THEMED playgroup session helped kids and parents to celebrate Family Day Care Week in Dandenong North.
Dandenong Community Family Day Care hosted an ‘every child is a star’ session on Wednesday 4 May.
Educational leader Sharon Cornthwaite said kids created star wands and more.
The non-profit community service offers after-hours and vacation care.
It was established in 1976 and will celebrate its 40th birthday in November.
The service needs more educators in the Keysborough area and has child vacancies in all areas, from Cranbourne to Noble Park.
National Family Day Care Week, from 1 to 7 May, recognised and promoted the important role family day care educators and services play in the development and wellbeing of more than 203,790 children across Australia.
