Police nabbed a Noble Park teen allegedly driving more than 45 kilometres over the speed limit.
The Oakleigh officers impounded the P-plater’s Volkswagen Golf under hoon legislation, and it will cost him $917 to get the vehicle back.
They allegedly detected the 19-year-old travelling at 127km/h in an 80km/h zone on Dandenong Road, Clayton, about 2.50am on Tuesday 30 August.
He is also expected to be charged on summons with exceeding the speed limit and driving in a dangerous manner.
