Police charged a man following a shooting involving an officer in Stud Road, Dandenong.
The incident happened after police intercepted a car on Grace Street at 4pm on Wednesday 26 October.
On Saturday 29 October they charged a 26-year-old Traralgon man with attempted armed robbery, assaulting police, being a prohibited person carrying firearm, possessing ammunition and possessing a controlled weapon.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 2 November.
