A Clyde North man’s car was shunted and carjacked as he left a Dandenong fast food restaurant.
Greater Dandenong CIU Senior Constable Riley Wesley said the 33-year-old exited the Hungry Jacks car park on Clow Street in his silver Holden Commodore sedan, about 11.45pm on Wednesday 26 October.
A dark-coloured hatchback collided with the rear of the Commodore and the victim pulled over.
Two men aged about 20 got out of the hatch, one described as Islander and the other African, and approached.
One appeared to be holding a knife and they demanded the victim’s vehicle.
He immediately complied, and the man of Islander appearance got in and drove down Clow Street.
The man of African appearance returned to the hatchback, driven by a woman, and followed.
Sen Const Wesley appealed for witnesses to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
