A man struck in the head with what appeared to be a gun isn’t helping police track down his attackers.
So Greater Dandenong CIU investigators are appealing for public help to find those responsible for the ambush in Dingley Avenue, Dandenong South, at 7.30am on Sunday 11 December.
The victim was inside a factory with a friend when two men, one African and one Caucasian, arrived and demanded he exit to discuss issues about repairing a car.
The attackers then got a pole and smashed windows on the premises until the victim complied and came outside.
They struck the victim to the head with what appeared to be a handgun, but might have been an imitation weapon.
The 33-year-old victim was taken to Dandenong Hospital with head lacerations.
