A 31-year-old Dandenong man will answer 30 charges following a shooting incident in Dandenong last month.
Police arrested him in South Melbourne on Tuesday 4 April and took him to hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
It is alleged he fired shots at police in Stud Road on Tuesday 7 March.
Armed Crime Squad detectives revealed on Friday 7 April that they had charged the man with 30 offences, including reckless conduct endangering life, possessing a traffickable quantity of unregistered firearms, possessing and using a firearm as a prohibited person, possessing cartridge ammunition, three counts of motor vehicle theft, handling stolen goods and proceeds of crime, possessing a drug of dependence, and driving while disqualified.
He was remanded to appear in Melbourne Magistrates’ Court for a committal hearing on Wednesday 28 June.
