Police are trying to identify a torched car shell found alight in Dandenong South.
Greater Dandenong CIU detectives believe the vehicle was a Holden Commodore but key parts were missing and damage from the fire was significant.
It was found burning on the nature strip at the Glasscocks and Taylors roads intersection about 12.45am on Friday 14 April.
