It’s man versus donuts

Dandee Donut lovers can binge on the jam-filled, sugar-coated treats for the chance to win $500.
Dandenong Market is partnering with Competitive Eating Australia for this year’s Dandee Donut Eating Competition on Sunday 13 August.
Over five rounds, 25 competitors will devour as many donuts as they can in two minutes to a maximum of 10.
The top five contestants will compete in the final round to see how quickly they can eat 20 Dandee Donuts.
The winner will be crowned the ultimate Dandee Donut Champion and take home $500 and a trophy.
The runner-up will win $200 and the second runner-up will win $100.
To be declared the winner, the contestant must swallow all of their donuts and show an empty mouth to the judges.
Contestants may use water to assist in the eating competition.
Anyone who vomits will be disqualified and must clean up after themselves.
The Bell family has managed Dandee Donuts for more than 40 years.
The stall draws people from all over Melbourne and Australia.
The Dandee Donuts team makes the dough balls fresh each day and cooks them on-site to demand.
Other donut brands use frozen ingredients and cook off-site.
