Free entry will mark Noble Park Aquatic Centre’s outdoor pool reopening.
The 50-metre pool, Splash Park and Waterslide will welcome back swimmers on Wednesday 20 December.
Greater Dandenong Mayor Youhorn Chea said pool entry would be free from then until Sunday 24 December to celebrate and to thank pool users for their patience.
“The retiling works are now complete and refilling and heating of the outdoor pool is well underway,” he said.
The indoor pool reopened to the public on Thursday 9 November.
The council and NPAC operator YMCA have been working with the contractor to address tiling problems on the indoor heated pools and the outdoor 50-metre pool since June.
Members have been able to access Dandenong Oasis at no extra cost or to suspend their membership during the repair works.
NPAC was formerly the Noble Park Swim Centre and reopened in February 2012 following a $21 million redevelopment.
