Police have seized a commercial quantity of the drug ‘ice’ from a car that crashed into a parked vehicle in Springvale.
The car was travelling south when it crashed and rolled over on Springvale Road on 12 October, Greater Dandenong CIU police say.
Paramedics were first to discover the drugs inside the vehicle as they treated the driver.
Police allegedly seized 120 grams of ice as well as 200 grams of GHB, 1 gram of cocaine and 1.5 grams of cannabis from the vehicle.
They raided the driver’s home, where further drugs were found, police say.
The driver was taken to The Alfred hospital with suspected soft-tissue injuries.
He was expected to be interviewed by police upon his discharge from hospital.
Police say charges are pending.
