A 20-year-old man has been carjacked at knifepoint while parked outside a Domino’s pizza store in central Dandenong.
The Mt Waverley man had got into his green Mitsubishi Lancer in Langhorne Street about 11.30pm on 29 October.
While the engine was running, a man has opened the driver’s side door, produced a knife and told the driver to get out of the car.
After complying, the victim tried to phone police. The offender then demanded the victim’s phone.
The victim escaped by foot with his phone while the robber drove away in the Lancer, with number plate PGU654.
He was described as about 170 centimetres, mid 20’s, Caucasian appearance and solid build.
