Police search for missing man

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate Thayaparan Kanapathipillai.

The 33-year-old was last seen at his Doveton home about 3pm on Saturday 1 December.

Police and family members hold concerns for Thayaparan’s welfare due to an intellectual disability and he may appear disorientated.

An image of Thayaparan has been released in the hope someone can provide information on his whereabouts.

He is described as about 175cm tall, large muscly build, dark skin short black hair and unshaven.

He was last seen wearing a dark blue shirt, blue jeans and blue shoes.

Police believe he frequents the Dandenong area, often around Stud Road and Heatherton Road.

Anyone who sees Thayaparan or knows of his whereabouts is urged to contact Narre Warren Police Station on 9705 3111.
