A male has broken into a Springvale mechanic’s workshop during a ramraid on Monday 25 February.

A dark-coloured Mazda without number plates rammed the Booloora Road premises’ large roller-door about 3.30am, police say.

An intruder with a covered face then entered through the damaged door and ransacked the workshop.

He left with a small amount of cash before alerted security personnel arrived.
