All-new kinder in Noble Park

A $1.25 million all-new kindergarten and maternal and child health hub has officially opened in Noble Park.

Yarraman Oaks Kindergarten includes a double-unit kindergarten providing 66 extra licensed places for three-and-four-year-olds.

There is also a community meeting space for playgroups and parenting programs.

Two consulting suites for maternal and child health and allied health services are provided.

Dandenong MP Gabrielle Williams and Greater Dandenong mayor Roz Blades officially opened the kindergarten on Wednesday 22 May.

Ms Williams said it was part of the Government’s aim for all Victorian families to have access to a “great local kinder, close to home”.

“This new Yarraman Oaks Kindergarten will give Noble Park kids the support they need from an early age.”

The State Government provided a $650,000 grant towards the Greater Dandenong Council project.

The Government says it has committed $1.6 billion to building nearly 785 new kindergartens in the next decade.
