Driver dies on the Monash

A driver has been killed after their car collided with a truck on Monash Freeway in Mulgrave.

Police say the crash occurred in the outbound lanes about 7.40pm on Monday 17 June.

The driver, who was yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.

The 42-year-old truck driver, of Longwarry, received minor injuries. He was taken to hospital for treatment.

Police say they are still investigating the cause of the crash.
