Two young men were charged over nine armed robberies and burglaries in Melbourne’s south-eastern suburbs after police pursued a stolen car earlier this month.

Dandenong police charged two males, aged 17 and 18, over the robberies in Berwick, Narre Warren, Dandenong, Hallam, Wantirna South, Mt Waverley and Ashburton between March 25 and April 13.

The men were remanded to appear in Dandenong Magistrates Court on May 25. A 16-year-old girl was charged with theft of a vehicle.
