Two charged over drugs

Two Springvale South men have been charged with cultivating and trafficking cannabis following a raid by Greater Dandenong police tasking unit last Tuesday.

Police allegedly found a hydroponic crop of 250 cannabis plants and seized $15,000 of electrical equipment and tools used to grow the plants at a Springvale South address.

The men, aged 50 and 52, were remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates Court last Wednesday. They were also charged with theft of electricity.
