Wanted: Noble Park attempted robbery suspect

POLICE have released an image fitting the description of young man wanted in connection with two attempted robberies at the Mons Parade underpass in Noble Park.

About 10pm on July 27, a young male, who was with a group of young people, approached a person along the railway line underpass, and demanded they hand over cash. The victim was assaulted by unknown members of the group. The victim managed to flee without surrendering any cash.

Shortly after, a second person was approached by a male who demanded cash and then assaulted the victim. The person also fled the scene without handing over money.

The offender is described as male, Caucasian, aged 16-17, 152 centimetres and with dark-coloured hair.

He wore dark-coloured trackpants and top.
