London 2012: Ciriello rewarded with bronze

ENDEAVOUR Hills export Chris Ciriello was rewarded for a strong Games with a bronze medal as part of the men’s hockey team.

The Kookaburras won the bronze medal match against Great Britain 3-1.

The team has been one of Australia’s most successful at the Olympics – London being the sixth straight Games they have won a medal.

They won gold at Athens, silver at Barcelona and bronze at Atlanta, Sydney, Beijing and now London.

Ciriello scored three goals for the tournament.
