Leppitsch backs SFL Sandown Cobras

Brisbane Lions triple premiership full-back Justin Leppitsch has signed on as Sandown Cobras’ No. 1 ticket holder.

Leppitsch, currently an assistant coach with AFL club Richmond, will be the face of the club’s membership campaign and appear as keynote speaker at a match day function for the club while also hosting development sessions for club coaches at the Tigers’ Punt Road Oval training complex.

He will also attend some training sessions to assist Cobras players and coaches. Leppitsch has a family connection with senior coach Michael Rossborough, who helped lure him to the club. Leppitsch said he looked forward to getting started with the Cobras. “I have been looking for a way to give back more but have not had the appropriate means,” he said.
