Re: Machete attack: ‘Just three months jail?’

Great lad, great footballer, such a sad outcome. Head up buddy, come down for a trial for Sydney FC.

Awful story, and a wonderful young man loved by the African community in Melbourne. He is a great role model for his younger peers. Hope to see you in the Australian team in the soccer 2014 World Cup.

Re: Drink-driving debate: should the limit be zero?

This is a strange story. The father can never be compensated for the pain, but this driver was not fractionally loaded with alcohol; he was three times over the limit. The story quotes Swedish results from a .02 program but conveniently doesn’t say what it drops down from. Australian truck drivers are already on zero, but transferring the general population to zero or 0.02 has practical issues. No evidence was produced to show any test results for a scale from zero to .05.
