Re: Dandenong arterial
The Dingley Arterial, now officially called the Dandenong Bypass, has been built to allow traffic to travel around Springvale and Dandenong from Princes Highway, Springvale, through to the South Gippsland Highway in Dandenong South. The Cheltenham Road bridge was deliberately built without on or off ramps to allow a continuous flow of traffic along the bypass through that area. In peak traffic, on and off ramps would have made it an intolerable nightmare for all traffic, hence the reason for no ramps. What we need now though is a bridge over Springvale Road to allow a better flow of through traffic on the bypass.
