Possum Magic: Bright-eyed and bushy-tailed

CHILDREN’S literary classic Possum Magic lands on stage in Drum Theatre, Dandenong, this Thursday.

The musical adaptation, large with puppetry, singing and dancing, premiered in 1990. The show’s publicity states it is on its “final farewell tour”.

Drum Theatre director Greg Hordacre said the show “stylishly combined into a rollicking Aussie musical — complete with lamingtons, pavlovas and Vegemite sandwiches”.

Possum Magic is at Drum Theatre, corner of Lonsdale and Walker streets, Dandenong, on Thursday at 10am and 11.45am. Bookings: 9771 6666 or drumtheatre.com.au.
