Robberies and drug offences have dived but family violence assaults have climbed in Greater Dandenong in the 12 months to March, according to police statistics released last week. During that time, reported family violence assaults rose from 678 to 827. Reported robberies were down by 20.5 per cent per capita and theft of vehicles reduced by 17.3 per cent.
