Distress over missing diabetic pooch Boofy

THE Narre Warren owners of a diabetic poodle-cross which went missing from Dandenong North two weeks ago are concerned for her health.

‘Boofy’ was staying with the parents of her
owner Sarah Bond, in the  Blaxland Drive area while her family
was on holiday, when she went missing on Saturday June 15.

Due to her diabetes, Boofy is fed a special diet and requires insulin.

“We are extremely worried about her and her health,” Ms Bond said.

“It was raining and wet that day and she may have looked bedraggled and unloved. We are appealing to anyone who may have seen her.”

Boofy’s family have been desperately trying to find their beloved pet by door knocking, dropping off and posting flyers and even hiring a pet detective company.

“We have two children, Emma, 6, and Josh, 2, who are both very upset and worried for Boofy,” Ms Bond added.
