WORLD BREASTFEEDING WEEK
The Dandenong branch of the Australian Breastfeeding Association
invites new mothers to come forward for support during World
Breastfeeding Week, which runs until Wednesday, and beyond.
Breastfeeding is recommended for at least the first six months of life
and the association offers peer counselling and mother-to-mother support
from its trained counsellors.

RETAIL TRADERS’ ASSOCIATION
Greater Dandenong council’s manager of community engagement, Lee
Robson, will speak about safety and well-being in the municipality at
the Dandenong Retail Traders’ Association meeting. He will be joined by
Inspector Bruce Kitchen, of Dandenong police, to discuss recent and
planned improvements, including the installation of CCTV cameras,
graffiti removal, Safe City forums and proposals for the new Civic
Square in Walker Street.
