A MIDDLE-AGED Noble Park man has died after he was struck by a taxi at Melbourne Airport on Monday morning.
Police said the 56-year-old man was walking in the taxi holding area at Melbourne Airport when he was hit by a taxi pulling into a parking space.
They said the Noble Park man hit the ground after being struck by the car at a slow speed.
He suffered head and chest injuries.
The taxi driver raised the alarm and the man was taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital.
Police said the man died at 5.10am on Tuesday.
No charges have been laid.
