Cash, drinks stolen in restaurant raid

A THIEF stole cash and softdrinks after breaking into a Springvale restaurant last week.
Police said the man forced open the glass doors of the Walrus Restaurant in Queens Avenue, Springvale, at 12.40am on Friday 22 February .
He then forced open a cash register and stole a quantity of cash.
He also stole softdrinks before fleeing.
Police said the man is described as Caucasian, of thin build, wearing a white baseball cap and a bandana around his neck.
Anyone with information on the man’s identity should contact Detective Senior Constable Scott Wells at Greater Dandenong Crime Investigation Unit on 9767 7509.

POLICE are searching for a woman who attempted to withdraw cash from another person’s account at the Dandenong branch of the Commonwealth Bank.
Police said that on 21 January at about 1.30pm a woman attempted to withdraw cash from another person’s account over the counter.
The woman is described as in her late 20s to early 30s, of thin build with long, light coloured hair and well dressed in a black pants suit.
Anyone with information regarding her identity should contact Detective Senior Constable Scott Wells at Greater Dandenong Crime Investigation Unit on 9767 7509.
