Lights shine on black spots

TRAFFIC lights and roundabouts are set to boost safety at four Greater Dandenong intersections.
Greater Dandenong Council has received $1.1 million through the Federal Government’s Nation Building Blackspot Program.
It will install traffic lights at Corrigan Road and Henderson Road, Noble Park, with $281,000 of help.
A roundabout and parking lane on Railway Parade, Noble Park, between Chandler Road and EastLink received a $431,000 boost and there is now $293,000 for a new roundabout at Noble Street and Athol Road, Noble Park.
The roundabout at James Street and David Street, Dandenong, will receive modifications thanks to $109,000 in funding.
