Hunt for woman after car torched

POLICE are searching for a woman in relation to a car theft and arson in Dandenong North.
Greater Dandenong CIU detectives said she attended a service station on the corner of Stud and Heatherton roads about 6.30am on Monday 28 March.
She allegedly tried to use a stolen credit card to buy cigarettes but the transaction was declined.
Police said she soon left the shop and stole a Nissan X-Trail four-wheel drive that a delivery driver had left running in the car park.
The vehicle was found about 7am, dumped and burnt out in Fair Court, Dandenong North.
Police urged anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or make a confidential report at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au.
