New Year’s Eve at Harmony Square

Harmony Square will host a family-friendly New Year’s Eve celebration complete with fireworks, food and performances.
The event is now in its third year and will run from 6pm to 9.30pm on Saturday, 31 December.
Greater Dandenong Mayor Jim Memeti said the live entertainment would include performances by the Barely Standing Duo, who featured on Triple J Unearthed, plus Brazilian dance and music, the Rhythm of Life African Drumming and Dance, and Electro Carnival with Neda.
A small cost will apply for amusement rides but there will also be free activities including face painting, an animal farm, balloon artists and a drumming workshop.
The fireworks display will start about 9.25pm.
Free parking will be available at the multi-deck car parks in Walker Street and Thomas Street.
