Drink-drive charge for 33-year-old P-plater

Police impounded a P-plate driver’s car in Dandenong after allegedly catching him drink-driving.
Greater Dandenong Highway Patrol intercepted a red Holden sedan travelling on King Street about 3am on Thursday 13 April.
The 33-year-old was the only person in the car and allegedly returned a 0.15 evidentiary breath test reading.
Police immediately suspended the Dandenong North man’s licence and impounded his car for 30 days at a cost of $997.
He is expected to be charged on summons with drink driving and failing to display P-plates.
