About 1500 people turned out for Greater Dandenong’s 70th annual Christmas carols event on Friday 15 December.
Greater Dandenong Mayor Youhorn Chea said the Carols Harmony Square event was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the spirit of Christmas with family, friends and the broader community.
“Our diverse and vibrant community were treated to a night of traditional Christmas songs and family entertainment,” he said.
Greater Dandenong Council put on the evening after the Greater Dandenong Chamber of Commerce stepped down as the organiser in October.
