Double the limit

A Cranbourne P-plater was driving at twice the speed limit in Noble Park, police allege.
The impounded the 22-year-old’s car on Heatherton Road about 5pm on Friday 16 February.
The Springvale officers allegedly detected him travelling at 119 kilometres an hour in a 60 zone.
It will be a month until he’s allowed to see his vehicle again and he’ll have to pay $1038 to get it back.
