Greater Dandenong police are seeking your views on community safety.
For two months, Victoria Police will gather public feedback in Community Safety Networks activities around the municipality.
Officers will be out and about at railway stations, community forums, festivals and markets to get feedback from residents, business owners and commuters.
“It’s an opportunity for the community to have a say on the key issues within Greater Dandenong,” Acting Inspector Tim Hardiman, of Greater Dandenong police, said.
“We know that people have great insight into their local community and ideas about other ways to prevent crime.
“Issues identified will inform the development of projects and initiatives to help improve community safety.”
The Community Safety Networks project is a partnership between Victoria Police, the State Government, Crime Stoppers Victoria and Neighbourhood Watch.
Activities kick off on 23 July.
