Dads hurry for curry

If you’re looking for the best curries in town, you’ll find them at Dandenong Market’s Curry Festival this Sunday 1 September.

And look at the date – Father’s Day – because let’s face it, whose dad doesn’t love curry?

Everybody’s favourite colourful, comforting curries laced with spices from India and Sri Lanka will be available, as well as fabulous bowls of spicy goodness from Malaysia, Indonesia, Africa, Thailand, Japan, Korea, Trinidad, Tobago, Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Mauritius.

If dad loves curry, there are plenty of places in the world to enjoy it – or he can just head along to the Curry Festival.

While enjoying mouth-watering cultural cuisine, visitors can kick up their heels with Bollywood, Bhangra and Sega dancers. The schedule is jam-packed with performances from all over the world. There will also be a fun photo booth where visitors can get their photo taken wearing traditional costumes, and parking will be free too!

Spice up Father’s Day this year by joining the festivities at Dandenong Market’s Curry Festival.

Arrive hungry.

The Curry Festival is at Dandenong Market, corner Clow and Cleeland Streets in Dandenong, on Sunday 1 September from 9am-4pm. For more information go to www.dandenongmarket.com.au.
