An enthralling mix of Lion dances and sumptuous South Asian street food celebrated a Full Moon Festival at Dandenong Market on Sunday 15 September.
More than 31,500 visited the festival, which marks the brightest and fullest moon of the year.
According to Chinese custom, it is a symbol of peace, prosperity and family reunion.
The action-packed program included a diversity of dance groups and kung-fu demonstrations.
A tempting menu of satays, dumplings, hokkein noodles and a street barbecue was also on offer.
