Big day for gum club

NOBLE Park’s Red Gum Club has celebrated its first birthday.
The day club meets weekly at Noble Park RSL in a bid to encourage inactive and socially isolated residents out of their homes and into a setting with friends, fun and fine food.
The club was formed in May last year and while it operates independently of the RSL club, the RSL’s members played an integral role in establishing it.
For just $5 participants in the Red Gum Club are treated to activities, live entertainment and a two-course meal.
A typical Red Gum Club meeting kicks off at 10.30am and ends at 2.30pm.
Anyone interested in joining the club can attend the Tuesday meetings at Noble Park RSL, Heatherton Road, Noble Park.
