A WOMAN in her 20s survived when a concrete pole smashed through her car roof in Noble Park on Tuesday.
A nearby crane knocked over the pole, sending it crashing down on to the Hyundai’s roof at the intersection of Heatherton Road and Princes Highway.
The woman was taken to hospital with minor head injuries but was released soon after.
Workcover officials attended the scene and are investigating the incident.
