Two could help solvestabbing investigation

By Shaun Inguanzo
A 51-YEAR-OLD boarding house resident was stabbed to death in Noble Park this week.
Lachhman Singh was found dead at the Princes Highway boarding house at 4.30pm on Monday.
Police said it appeared the body had been there for at least a day.
They have appealed to the public to help find two men who may be able to help police with their investigation into Mr Singh’s death.
Investigators want to speak to Glen Matthew Fox, 45, and Ronald Robertson, 36, who they believe were at the boarding house at the time of the stabbing.
Speaking at a press conference in Melbourne yesterday (Wednesday), Detective Senior Sergeant Charlie Bezzina said police had been unable to locate the pair, who may be driving an early model silver or grey Mitsubishi Magna sedan, possibly with registration plates DQR 396.
“We would like to speak to Glen and Ronald and find out what they know about the events at the boarding house last Saturday as part of our ongoing investigation,” Det Sen Sgt Bezzina said.
He said the pair had been known to frequent the eastern and northern suburbs, but could have travelled elsewhere.
Det Sen Sgt Bezzina said anybody who saw them should immediately contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
Mr Singh, unemployed, had lived at the boarding house for about two and a half months.
Police said he had suffered stab wounds to his upper body.
Residents said they heard a disturbance in the room on Saturday and the man was found by another resident on Monday. About 30 people lived at the boarding house.
