STUDENTS at St Johns Regional College partied hard last week in honour of their patron saint.
A plethora of cultural delights and artistic talents were woven together to become the school’s St John’s Day celebrations.
A range of foods and music representing students’ many cultural backgrounds were on show.
There was also a talent quest run by students.
St John’s Regional College marketing and public relations assistant Terry Mefsut said last Wednesday’s celebration helped to promote inclusiveness within the school community.
“The festival provided students with a forum to sample and enjoy a range of interesting and exciting activities that they may not have previously experienced,” he said.
“It is therefore an important celebration of college life, a day where the participants come together to promote and enhance our involvement with our school community.”
