A VIOLENT fight at a Noble Park boarding house on Monday night left two men hospitalised with knife injuries.
Police believe the disagreement started at 8.10pm after one man, 33, tried to take money from the manager’s room of the boarding house in Princes Highway and another man, 37, tried to stop him.
Police said there was a small fight but the men but they were separated without incident.
They said that the man who tried to take the money pulled out a knife a short time later and attacked the same man he previously fought with, leaving him with a stab wound to the neck.
The father of the injured man then fought the attacker with a baseball bat.
The man with the neck wound was taken to The Alfred hospital and the other was taken to Dandenong Hospital with a slash wound to the face.
