PARAMEDICS are warning parents to be careful with hot drinks when around children.
Three Victorian children were burnt from spills on Tuesday, including a baby in Dandenong North.
The one-month-old child suffered burns in a spill at the Dandenong North home at 11.40am.
The baby was taken to Monash Medical Centre in a stable condition.
Other incidents occurred in Wantirna South and Meadow Heights.
Communications support paramedic Rob Jaske urged parents to be mindful in coming weeks given the cold weather.
“On a cold night like this many will be warming up with hot drinks and we remind parents that children are quick and all it takes is a couple of seconds for it to end in tears,” Mr Jaske said.
