Position fall after bad run

EARLY hopes of a season of success were quashed by Noble Park’s awful run home – dropping their last four matches to fall from finals’ likelihood all the way down to 10th.
The Bulls were equally as indifferent towards fighting for a victory on Saturday, as Endeavour Hills had their way with the visitors in a three-wicket win in a 45-over match.
Noble Park’s main men at the crease were Shane Mleczek (32), coach Rizan Mawzoon (30) and Chanaka Gunawardana (29) as the Bulls posted 9/165cc from their allotted overs.
In reply, early breakthroughs from Mawzoon (3/24) and Eranga Pelpola (1/29) went went unrewarded by their middle overs bowlers as Richard Saniga (63) and Chris Peake (31) put together a match winning 74-run partnership, before the tail wagged enough to drag the Eagles to the victory with six overs remaining.
