Tegan heads north

By JARROD POTTER

DANDENONG’S WNBL player exodus continued this week with forward Tegan Cunningham putting pen to paper with the Logan Thunder.
Cunningham, one of the league’s best impact players and rebounders, signed with the Queensland based WNBL club after a two-year stint with Dandenong.
The 27-year-old forward was a pivotal part of Dandenong’s drought breaking 2011/12 championship victory over the Bulleen Boomers.
Cunningham is the third Ranger to sign elsewhere this off-season following Sara Blicavs (Bendigo Spirit) and Steph Cumming (Townsville Fire).
In other WNBL news, former SEABL Dandenong Ranger Elyse Penaluna has signed with the reigning champion Bendigo Spirit and former Dandenong WNBL player Abby Bishop is off to Canberra.
