DANDENONG Junior Rangers will be well represented at this weekend’s National Junior Classics – with teams in every division set to challenge the best of Australia’s young basketball talent.
Boys and girls Rangers teams in under-12, under-14, under-16 and under-18 will take on the rest of Australia for a national championship – with eight Victorian and eight interstate teams in each division.
Under-12 and under-14 matches will be played at the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre while the under-16 and under-18 matches will be a home ground advantage for the Rangers, with the senior divisions hosted at Dandenong Basketball Stadium.
Casey Cavaliers under-12 boys will also fly the flag for south east Victoria at the Classics.
The tournament runs from Saturday to Monday this week.
