BATTLING it out for four-year-old Zayne Anderson – one of its youngest fans who is undergoing leukaemia treatment – Noble Park rallied after a sluggish first-half to emphatically take a 43-point win over the Bulldogs.
Zayne – son of Bulls’ captain and ultimate clubman Craig Anderson – was carried off in his dad’s arms and sang the song proudly with the team before heading into the clubrooms for the ‘Shave a Bull Day’ festivities, which have raised over $20,000 for charity.
Journal photographer Jarrod Potter captured the celebrations of the match and the fundraising efforts to help Zayne and the Leukaemia Foundation.
